September 2023: This is a rustic campground but it has bathrooms with running water and flush toilets. No showers though.
We shared the park with other campers and wildlife. Bison roamed less than 50 feet from our camper. As we walked on one occasion, we saw bison to our right, wild horses to our left, and a prairie dog village ahead of us. Prairie dogs are cute until dozens of them start barking at you just a few feet from where you are walking. That gets creepy!
